Welcome to the Village!

* A quick note to all you guests that are using the quick tools.  Thanks for the feedback, it is appreciated.  I'm working on a bunch of new stuff that will be up ASAP, keep checking back.  I'd also like to invite you all to register for an account, it doesn't cost anything, will help this community grow and will allow you to see some stuff intended for members only.  ALSO, if any of you would like to contribute directly,  GenX is establishing a "Street Team" to help gather information and updates for local venues(to you) that are hosting unknown bands...for more info register and pm zebowho.  There will be a Street Team area as well where all instruction will come from...So join the experience here at the Village and lets all give another voice to the unknown/unsigned artist.  (all music styles welcome) 

GenX Village is a portal for the unknown Artist, from music to sculpture to the painted medium to the written word...and of course the digital pixel.  Art Work thats candy for the senses!  Come on in, take a look around.  Leave a message in the Guestbook or register (it’s free) and then introduce yourself in the X-Forums.  If you had an account on the old site, register again...it’ll stay this time.

If you or someone you know is looking for additional exposure or resources, the Village can help in several ways.

• Artist Directories is an area where you can upload samples of your work for Village Guests to view.
• GenX shopping cart can be used to sell your Master pieces - must be a registered user to sell through GenX Village.
• X-Forums - a communication link between you and your fans or that big break.
• UnderGround-X - if your looking for more traditional ways to get published, this is it!  Headlines/coverstories/reviews/show dates and much more.
• Events Calendar - announce your big break...or your next gig.
• GenX hosting, prices inside.

This is of course just a start...there’s much more to come.   We will also offer design/production services (watch for GenXProductions - online soon.) If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

Upcoming Additions: *not in any certain order.

• Add graphic images to the clock - minor, will eventually rotate user submitted pix from the Image Galleries.
• Refined templates in Village Members directory, via CSS.
• ...adding as much artistic "candy" as I can find, this is a fully interactive portal so member input is welcome.

Village Membership (FREE account) is not part of the hosting plans, the hosting plans are seperate and may include domain registration/transfer.  All services such as directory listing, forums posting, calendar scheduling/posting, private messaging, subscription and or inclusion re: UnderGround-X are part of the Village Membership (FREE account) and will be included with the hosting services.

*NOTE - You do not need to purchase a hosting package in order to submit your art and participate in the Village experience.
